A new movie is being filmed in the heart of where many immigrant stories began in Toronto: at the intersection of Finch and Midland《今天應該很高興》in Scarborough! Our Editor-in-Chief and Fête Chinoise editorial team spent some time behind the scenes with Director Tim Yeung, Producer Ridley Tsui and actors Patrick Tam, Skye Chan and Teresa Lee. We will be covering more of the production of this film over the next few months, and deep diving into the stories together. We're thrilled to support a meaningful project that gives a voice to an often forgotten neighbourhood, and to have Canadian narratives transformed for international audiences.

Press Conference in Downtown Toronto

The film reception, held in downtown Toronto, provided a unique opportunity to meet and greet the creative and production team. Director Tim Yeung and Producer Ridley Tsui, along with lead actors Harriet Yeung, Anthony Wong, Theresa Lee, and Dmitry Chepovetsky, introduced the film and shared their filming experiences. They were joined by other cast members, including Skye Chan and Michael Chan, who also participated in the press conference.
