LOVE AT MID-AUTUMN CHARITY CAMPAIGN 2023
A MEANINGFUL PROJECT THAT IS BOTH CULTURALLY INSPIRING AND NOURISHES THE COMMUNITY!
Together we donated $60,000 to Holland Bloorview Kids Rehab Hospital! Thank you to all our sponsors, major supporters, ambassadors, community partners and committee for coming out to Harry Rosen Yorkdale to celebrate Love at Mid-Autumn 2023! Click to see more photos below!
Fête Chinoise is dedicated to celebrating Chinese-Canadian culture and giving back to the community. We are thrilled to launch the 3rd edition of the Fête Chinoise Love at Mid-Autumn Charity Campaign and invite you to be a part.
This year, we decided to produce something different that our kids could keep and remember tradition by.
Enjoy our mini film of the next generation making lanterns and memories in celebration of Mid-Autumn Festival, and inviting you to support by purchasing our special edition charitable mooncake gift sets. It’s their way of paying it forward to help their friends at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital.
Hope you are moved to get involved!
A GIFT THAT KEEPS GIVING
In 2023, our mission to Move Culture Forward continues. 100% of net proceeds will benefit the Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital Foundation, a charitable organization that helps support children with disabilities and complex medical needs and their families by providing them with specialized care, research, and resources.
THE DESIGN
The annual tin design is a passion project of Creative Director Deborah Lau-Yu’s and the team at PALETTERA. This year's design is inspired by Chinoiserie, which combines a decorative art style that blends Chinese and Western elements. It was popular in Europe from the 17th to the 19th centuries and features Chinese-inspired patterns and motifs. It was used in furniture, ceramics, textiles, and wallpaper.
IN EACH MOONCAKE gift SET YOU’LL RECEIVE:
Collectable mooncake tin by PALETTERA.
4 signature heart-shaped mooncakes with 2 egg yolks and lotus paste, baked by Saint Germain Bakery in Canada.
Complimentary copy of the Fête Chinoise 2023 Design Annual.
Special vouchers from Harry Rosen, Saint Germain, Fête Chinoise and more.
The gift set is presented in an elevated paper gift bag.
A special campaign brochure that doubles as a greeting card with space to write a message

PROJECT HISTORY
In 2021, during COVID lockdowns, this pilot initiative raised $40,000 net for the Mental Health & Wellness Program at Markham Stouffville Hospital. In 2022, we donated $50,000 net to the SickKids Foundation in support of the Ukrainian Paediatric Assistance Fund and the Herbie Fund. We delivered our original signature heart-shaped mooncakes to over 900 families across the country. It was a passion-driven design project in a challenging time. We spread love and hope to confronted anti-Asian racism with a beautiful concept that celebrates the diversity and inclusiveness of our country.
